The Opportunity This is a 6-month internship within a fast-paced FMCG environment, supporting the Customer Marketing team across the Cash & Carry channel. The role offers exposure to large-scale projects, product launches, and high-impact brand activations within one of the UK's biggest commercial channels.
This is a hands-on role where no two days are the same - ideal for someone eager to learn, highly organised, and confident in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities - Support delivery of shopper and trade marketing activations
- Coordinate with marketing agencies on campaign execution
- Assist with briefing processes and campaign rollouts
- Manage POS and branding materials (production, collation, and distribution to depots)
- Liaise with internal teams (sales, marketing, etc.) to ensure alignment on upcoming activity
- Support depot visits and trade shows
- Handle administrative tasks including tracking assets, timelines, and campaign elements
- Conduct regular check-ins with agencies and suppliers (e.g. printers)
What You'll Be Working On - Major campaigns within the Cash & Carry channel (a key focus area for the business)
- New product development (NPD) launches in the UK market at pace
- Brand activations, including:
- A well-known Jamaican RTD/fortified wine brand with strong UK presence
- Partnerships with a large DJ coming up and the Jamaican football team
- Campaigns targeting Gen Z and youth culture, if someone is tapped into this it is a bonus
- Large-scale cultural events such as Notting Hill Carnival

- Organised with excellent attention to detail
- Confident communicator, able to work cross-functionally
- Hands-on and proactive - someone who enjoys "doing the doing"
- Comfortable in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment
- Creative thinker with a willingness to challenge ideas
Experience - If someone has come from agency side then this could work
- Candidates with freelance or agency internship experience are highly desirable
- Previous success has been seen with agency interns transitioning into similar roles
Team & Culture - Collaborative environment with multiple internal teams

- Requires someone who will integrate well with Matt and the wider team
Salary - £102 day rate, but could look at someone who is Approx. £28,000-£30,000 pro rata (potentially attractive to candidates considering a move from agency to client side)

- Final stage likely face-to-face
Additional Notes - Strong interest in shopper/trade marketing is important
- Interest in UK youth culture is a bonus (adds fresh perspective)
