Sarah Findlay, Ancile Insurance, Marketing Manager, re-brief 31/3/2026
Not much has changed but in January have tested price changes, which messed up her analytics, investing in print media, but new prices aren't investing as much in this as they thought. Not not needing a print specialist. Need some print experience, need offline experience, but more of a generalist, who can stay in the team to adapt if necessary.
Balance, some print experience, as well as PR, email and CRM (possibly recruit in this space later), managing the offline channels.
Key: a few years marketing experience, response marketing,
DR for high volume sales. B2c, bright, driven, autonomous. £50,000 with a bit of flex. Possibly consider a senior exec looking for that step up. Needs to have ownership, a go getter, and confident in their ability.
Not necessary to have TV and radio. Need some print experience. Bright and understand the concept of tracking sales, choosing the media and working with agencies.
Going skiing, to France. Back on Monday 13th . Culture fit.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------The Predictive Index
AI description:
The Predictive Index (PI) Behavioral Assessment is an untimed, 5-10 minute, free-choice, stimulus-response tool used by employers to measure a candidate's natural behavioral drives and motivations. It consists of two lists of adjectives (checking how you are expected to act vs. how you really are) to determine if your personality aligns with a specific role and workplace culture.
The Predictive Index +4
Key Components and Factors:
- Four Primary Factors: The assessment measures four key behavioral drives: Dominance (A), Extraversion (B), Patience (C), and Formality (D).
- Two-Page Structure: Page one asks you to select adjectives describing how you believe others expect you to act at work (self-concept). Page two asks for adjectives describing how you truly see yourself (natural self).
- 17 Profiles: Results are categorized into 17 reference profiles (e.g., Captain, Collaborator, Specialist) that help employers understand your work style.
- No "Passing" Grade: It is not a test of ability; it is a personality/behavioral profile designed to match people to jobs. YouTube +4
How to Approach the Assessment:
- Be Consistent: Your self-concept and natural self should be similar, though not necessarily identical.
- Select 30-50 Adjectives: It is recommended to select a reasonable amount to ensure a valid result.
- Focus on the Role: Consider the traits required for the specific job, but answer honestly to ensure you are a good fit for the company culture.
- Untimed: Take your time to read and select adjectives that accurately reflect your work personality. YouTube +3
The PI Behavioral Assessment is widely used for hiring, team building, employee development, and fostering improved communication within an organization.
